A little history about my jewelry: The date range of the items I am selling covers the majority of the 20th century but mainly from the 1930's to the 1970's. I have recently decided to introduce a few newer items that I like very much. I attempt to identify the time frame for each piece selling. To my knowledge everything to be sold will be an authentic Native American item. I do my best to describe my pieces with accuracy and specific detail. OUTSTANDING CHEYENNE INDIAN TURQUIOSE RING NIGHTHORSE Unusual & special ring by well known listed artisan This is an unusual and very good looking ring fashioned in the mid-late 1970's by the well known silver smith Ben Nighthorse. His hallmark is on the inside with another mark that I am cannot make out. Nighthorse is a Cheyenne Indian whose silver smithing work started in the mid 1970's dating this ring back to one of his early creations. Along with being a silver smith of renown he was also a Judo champion, horse man and politician having been a Democratic congressman in Colorado . This is a fascinating ring.
