I bought several things at an original family estate.. This trunk came from the original family farm. I will be happy to share the family name with the winning bidder. This is the most rare and outstanding doll size,child trunk I have ever had the pleasure to own.. The embossed detail is extrodinary.. It has the original tray inside,paper lithograph inside of a beautiful women. Inside it had antique dolls & clothes Overall it is in very good condition.. It shows some wear but I guess that would be expected of a piece like this dating well over 100 years old. This original child size/minature hump back trunk has beautiful wood detail with fancy metal corners... There are no odors. This is a very fine and original detailed child size piece. part of the lock appears to be missing..some rubbing on wood edges. The raised paper lithograph is detailed with a man and a women each on different sides of the fence.A dog and a fox running,a horse in a pasture,There is a beautiful castle,big tree's and even some deer..lots and lots more detail through-out his piece.
