Outstanding Cut Out Geometric Sterling Taxco Early Bracelet by Emma Melendez 57 Grams Up for auction is an incredible piece of jewelry made by Emma Melendez prior to 1948 as t is no eagle mark. Emma was the niece of Rafael Melendez who produced very fine, high quality items that are very desirable today. The bracelet is cut out and looks like lace. It is all hand wrought and very high quality. The bracelet is 6 ¾" on the inside circumference, including the opening, by 1 ½" wide in the front, tapering on the sides to 7/8". Since it is sterling it can be opened slightly more if so desired. It weighs 57 grams so it is almost two ounces of sterling. It is marked Emma, sterling Taxco. Since t is no eagle, this bracelet was produced before 1948. It is in excellent vintage condition, with a warm unpolished patina.I appreciate your confidence and thank you for bidding.
