EXCEPTIONAL WATERMAN IDEAL BCHR EYEDROPPER FILLED FOUNTAIN PEN WITH BOX AND PAPERS Offered is a very early Ideal fountain pen from Waterman's in Black Chased Hard Rubber in original Waterman's box complete with instruction papers. This pen is 5 1/4 " long closed and 7" with the cap posted for writing. The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal New York 4. The barrel imprint is: Pat'd. 1884 May 23, 1899 Waterman's Ideal (logo) Fountain- Pen NY USA & Aug. 4 1903. The chrome colored clip is marked: CLIP-CAP, Ideal (logo) Sept. 26, 05 Pat. Apr. 19, 10. Along one side of the Ideal logo circle is printed German Silver. The end of the barrel is marked 14 in red. This pen is in excellent condition and complete with box and instructions. One of the better pens from my collection. T are no flaws in the barrel or the cap and the color is good retaining the gloss black look. The nib is in excellent shape. The pen is filled by unscrewing the nib section and depositing ink into the barrel by means of an eye dropper. The papers include complete description of the pen and its care, and prices. T is also a separate paper advertising Waterman's ink in the bottom of the box. The box itself is in very good condition, structurally intact with minor loss of color at the corners and from the bottom. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OFFERING. Buyer should contact read more
