Here is a big lot of over 2600 35mm color slides! My dad collected (hoarded?) old slides… now that he is sick, we are trying to clear out some of the clutter (with his blessings, of course). We have combined several different smaller boxes, so the subject matter is sort of "all over the map". The slides date from the early 1950's up to the 1970's, and there is a combination of wonderful vintage Americana as well as some very nice travel slides from around the world. Among the USA subjects is: St. Louis 1950's; Alton Lake & Dam; Carlsbad, New Mexico 1968: Washington DC 1965; San Antonio, 1970s; Hawaii 1968; Portland, Oregon in the snow 1956; Louisiana; South Dakota; Virginia; the Wisconsin Dells; the 1964 New York World's Fair (10 glass slides); the Grand Canyon; Yellowstone; the Rockies; the Huntington Library (California), 1959; a really neat parade, 1958; plus ladies' parties, weddings, kids, Christmas, boating, families, and more. There are some fun photos from various years labeled "Follies", with some sort of stage performance. Speaking of stage performances, there are a bunch of slides from the 1950's thru to the 1970's showing stage productions (not sure if they are from a school, or from a small community company). Here is a list of some of the plays: Li'l Abner, Annie Get Your Gun, The Egg & I, Lost Horizon, Hello Dolly!, read more
