Welcome to the Pack River and Sandpoint Railway. If you have been around Ebay for some time, you might remember some of the great brass locos that we have sold in the past, all estates belonging to friends of ours. I have been asked once again to sell a tremendous collection of brass equipment, but this time it's not an estate, but for an actual living, breathing collector who also happens to be a great guy and friend. This collection will be over 100 pieces, most of them Great Northern, with a splash of logging, and a dash of foreign roads (not native to the pacific northwest). Most have been professionally painted and all are highly collectible. Please sit back and enjoy seeing and bidding on some of the finest locomotives ever to pound a rail. We have revised the listing on this model. It appears that there have been some cabeese models switched around in boxes and right now, we have to go off the model and our GN books, and not the box. I know the collection owner has more at home, so until all items are accounted for, I don't know if correct boxes even exist. This model is a 25 foot wood caboose, lettered in the early "see america first" logo and numbered 513. According to the GN color guide by Dave Hickcox, this would closely resemble the GN X745 series built in 1930 and ran late into the 50's and 60's. It is stamped on the bottom by the maker, Woo Yang, which I believe is marketed under the Ajin label. Overland did import these models, but not with this number, so I would have to assume that it is a custom paint job, or at least a custom lettering job. I have a Beaver Creek model of a 25 foot GN caboose and this model is an exact copy, with the exception of solid black handrails and silver smokestack. It has acetate windows and is an outstanding model. If you die for correctness, you would have to re-number this to the X745 series, which would be very simple. Otherwise, it is still a great brass caboose. Sorry for the confusion, and thanks to some great GN fans who spotted the mistake and let us know.. We have always tried to sell things as simply as possible, mostly because we do it for friends and not as a business. In fact, the owner of this collection and I met when he purchased items from a past sale and, in reality, the friends we have made selling a few collections has been the most rewarding part of it all. I digress.....once payment is verified, we will ship. Shipping costs are totally up to the buyer. If you want it now, we will overnight it. If you don't, tell us how you want it shipped, we will add the cost and let you know what the total charge will be. We never have and never will charge for handling. You might actually enjoy reading our local newspaper, which I often use in conjunction with plenty of bubble wrap, and of course, our old favorite, duct tape! Of all the loco's we have shipped all over the world, we have yet to have one damaged in shipment and only one that didn't meet the buyers standards and we refunded him his cost and re-sold the loco to a happy buyer. Some folks you can never please! But we have great feedback and work hard to make our buyers happy.
