This is a Limited Edition and signed Owen Gromme print. The title is "Whitetails in Summer" and underneath is by Owen Gromme, 1983 National Wildlife Art Collectors Society Wildlife Artist of the Year. It is numbered 353/900. Beautifully framed and matted! Including the frame the dimensions are 35 1/4 x 27 1/4 inches. Estimated market price is $262-$315. On the back is "Whitetails in Summer" by Owen Gromme. The description is given as: In this tranquil painting the artist skillfully captures a quiet episode in the forests of northern Wisconsin. The protective doe escorts her two fawns to their daily refreshment at the water lily covered stream. The artist's palette is a subtle blending of a delicate greens and tender browns, creating an almost idyllic feeling. The deer have hesitate, instinctively listening for nature's warning signals. One can easily imagine that if the hidden viewer blinked in the bright sun, the trio will be gone, melting silently into the painting's lush foliage.
