PHOENIX PRECIOUS METALS 999 FINE SILVER ROUND SEALED SINCE 1980 AND EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE!!! "COIN OF THE AMERICAS" "ART ROUND" 1 TROY OUNCE .999 This display will be the first of the ever-popular Phoenix Precious Metals silver rounds. Titled "The Coin of the Americas", these obverse and reverse stamped pieces depicts Cheif Red Cloud Oglala of the Sioux Nation and the mythological "Phoenix" rising from the ashes. A bit like these coins, eh? ;) Acquired from Dan Brown Coins of Denver Colorado in 1980, these proof-like finish 999 fine silver "art rounds" are extremely scarce. When found, these coins are not typically in the mint-like condition of these "never handled" examples. Please take the time to study the pictures and understand the blemishes depicted are an optical distortion of the camera. The finishes are immaculate. Color induced on the round in the photographs above was accomplished through the reflective qualities of the round and the selection of the backgrounds placed. No computer enhancements were utilized.
