THIS AUCTION IS FOR A UNIQUE ACOUSTIC GUITAR! TAZ! Tasmanian Devil! FREE STRAP & CARRY BAG BACKGROUND: I bought this guitar about 16 years ago when I was a youthworker – I needed something that I could take into schools and youthclubs without the worry of damage! My wife painted the Taz design that you see on it about 15 years ago and it’s stood the test of time well. However, I haven’t used this particular guitar much for the last few years and I’m needing to clear a bit of space, hence I must now say farewell to my one of a kind Taz guitar :-( DETAILS: The guitar itself is a fairly low cost instrument made by Ozark – I think I paid about £120 for it new. It has a decent tone and a comfortable neck. What makes it unique of course is that ‘hard to ignore’ artwork! CONDITION: This guitar has had masses of use, but is still a good playable instrument. It’s had a neck repair (at the heel) – this was done about 13 years ago and hasn’t had any problems since, but it is visible. The artwork is a little uneven in places (remember it’s not been professionally done) and it certainly would benefit from a new set of strings. The action is a little high (mind you, I’m normally an electric guitarist!) on the upper frets, but barre chords are not a struggle and at the nut end it’s still plenty low enough to make open chords a doddle!
