Trekking poles Can be used for any type of walking but are more ideally suited to difficult trails. The straps are simpler because the hands need to come off the grips at times for challenging uphill or downhill terrain. 3 section trekking poles (good all round poles for all types of terrain) My three section poles are durable, lightweight and have anti-shock. Blue/Black/Purple. Durable synthetic cork handles have the feel of cork, with simple support wrist straps Aqua (green) . Tough soft rubber handles, supportive straps with velcro fasteners to keep hands more firmly in place 4 section pole Silver. These poles compact to the smallest of the poles I sell and feature a compass in the handle. (Kinda cool, but I would use a professional compass if you are intending to be dropped in the middle of the Amazon!) Can be used on fairly difficult trails, however the many moving parts required to make this a four section pole make it more suitable for moderate terrain. Nordic poles These are for walking at a consistent cardiovascular rate – usually easy to moderate surfaces. The straps are designed to offer more support because your hand will normally stay securely in place for the entire work out. 2 section (red) . Real cork handles! The fewest sections of the sticks I sell – it means that they are lightest. I have had these manufactured without antishock so that they have the fewest parts and simulate a one piece stick as much as possible. Still they fold down to be easily transportable – although they may be a bit too big to fit into a suitcase. 3 section (teal) . Real cork handles! With antishock. Good all round, durable sticks. Note: Some fellow Ebay pole vendors would lead you to believe that all poles that sell for less are of poor quality, unreliable and dangerous. No doubt there are some pretty dodgy products out there. However the poles I am selling are made according to my specifications and are manufactured to be extremely durable and light weight. They compare favorably to other expensive brands.
