This is a wonderful vintage Hostess Ware by Pacific Pottery handled bowl, marked at the estate as a soup tureen. It is in a orange color. No chips or cracks but does have a prominent scratch in the glaze from use and lighter scratches also from use. Still a wonderful example of Hostess ware. Great for serving in now just as it was when it was produced by Pacific Pottery. An estate find. It measures approximately 10 5/8th inch wide from end of handle to end of handle and 9 1/4 inches from side to side in the other direction. 4 inches tall. It rests on 4 feet on the bottom of the bowl. The internal dimensions are 8 3/4 inches diameter 3 1/8th inch deep approximately. There is a darker spot on the rim where the glaze is a slightly deeper orange. The finish looks a little bleached out in the photographs, it doesn't look that way in person, an issue with our lighting, we apologize for that.
