Humorama had a number of rivals in its heyday. Perhaps foremost among them was group of four magazines: NIFTY, PACK O'FUN , WHAM! , and ZIPPY . Each followed a similar format of short humor pieces and cartoons, many of which featured a "mascot" unique to that title. The cartoons are reminiscent of Humorama but are a little bit less subtle in their sexual innuendo. There is of course no full nudity or explicit sex as this is still the 1950's, and no pin-up photos either. This is PACK O' FUN which had "Packy" (designed by Bill Wenzel) as its mascot . This is the July 1955 issue. This magazine is in like new condition (see the photographs). It is unusual to find any of the Wolf Books in this good a shape. Cartoonists include Filchock, Stanley Rayon, and of course Wenzel drawing Packy (more than a dozen cartoons).
