This sale is a for a package of four (4) heavy duty flat can motors for use in HO scale medium to large brass (4-6-2 to 4-8-4 & articulated) steam locomotives imported by Alco, PFM, United, Sunset, Hallmark, Tenshodo and other manufacturers. These motors can also be used in most brass diesel and electric models as well. These motors will make an excellent replacement for the older open frame motors found in these models. Two of these motors can be installed back to back in large brass diesel and electric models such as an EMD E8 or GG1. These motors are slower than open frame motors, with these motors installed, your model will have a lower top speed, slow speed operation will be improved, and operating noise will be reduced. These are a high torque, heavy duty motors, you can add extra weight to your locomotive and not worry about overloading these motors. These motors measures 30mm x 18mm x 24mm, the shaft is 15mm long and 2mm in diameter. At 12VDC these motors draw 40ma at 6000 rpm, the stall current is 800ma. On the front of the motor are 2 mounting holes tapped for 2.6mm screws. Because of the low current draw and stall current, these motors are DCC compatible. NOTE!
