This item is a composition Vogue doll, Toodles, considered the precursor to the Vogue Ginny. These dolls were made in the late 1930s to 1940s. Toodles has a cute little face with side glancing painted eyes, and an adorable toddler body. This doll is in good condition, with no flaking or peeling paint; original mohair wig is reasonably intact. No chips or cracks. Felt riding pants have blue script Vogue tag; red jacket is untagged; original socks, and side snap oilcloth shoes. Please see photos and pose any questions or concerns prior to bidding.
