A pretty & practical vintage cabinet. It has been painted in Craig & Rose “Moonstone Grey”, lightly distressed & finished with a clear wax. The upper half of the cabinet has glazed doors & sides with 2 glass inner shelves. It has been given some added château chic with the addition of pretty mauve Laura Ashley wallpaper. The base of the cabinet has 2 doors opening into a good sized cupboard with inner shelf. The whole piece stands on elegant cabriole feet & has a wonderful French chic feel. This cabinet dates from the 1940s & as such it has inevitably suffered a few knocks & bumps over the years, but this I believe all adds to its many charms. Structurally, it is extremely sound, but it will only appeal to those buyers who love the character & quirks that age brings. If you are looking for a piece that looks brand new, then this is not for you. This is a truly beautiful & versatile piece of vintage furniture which would look fabulous in a modern or a period home. Please arrange payment within 3 days. We use a national antiques courier to deliver all our items. They offer a safe, professional service which includes full in-transit insurance. Please contact us, stating your postcode, for a quote. Items will usually be delivered within 1-2 weeks, depending on your location. Courier Information/Collection I am unable to deliver, but would recommend the nationwide courier Eazimove, .uk/index.html . They are based in Hereford & service many of the sellers on Ebay. Their website has a price guide based on mileage. You can work out the mileage by visiting /route-planner/index.jsp & typing in my postcode (PL3 4LB), & your own. All items are fully insured & blanket wrapped during transit. Please feel free to get quotes from any courier of your choice, I am happy to liaise with any carrier. However, research on my part & feedback from my customers suggests that Eazimove offer the most speedy & professional service available. This applies to local delieveries as well as national. With Eazimove your items will be sympathetically handled & you will receive them in just over 1 week, whereas other couriers may take 1-2 months to collect & deliver. Once you instruct them, Eazimove will liaise directly with me about a collection date, which will usually be the first Friday after you have booked them. Please note: If you intend to use a courier from Shiply this item MUST be collected within 2 weeks of the auction ending. Due to lack of space, I cannot offer storage. After 2 weeks I charge a storage fee of £5 per day. Also, collection MUST take place on a weekday within working hours. Collections cannot be arranged for weekends or evenings after 6pm.
