Hello Ebay Members. Today I have this very well done old Painting By Listed UK Artist ( FREDERICK ( FRED ) HALL 1860-1948 ). This was purchased at an Outside Antique Fair right here in town about 4 months ago. The piece caught my eye right away. The sheep are awesome and the strokes very confident, great piece for sure. The piece is signed lower right ( H. HALL ). You guys are the first to see this piece, I have not had it looked at by anyone, so I went a head and put it under ( ATTRIBUTED ) to. If anyone has information please just email and I will post for all to see. Condition wise, well it will need to be cleaned and restored at some point. The piece did not have a frame when I purchased it. I would say if one were to properly fit the right Frame to this piece it should be the center of attention. As you can see there is a small scrap ( less than an inch ) lower right, there is a small pea size hole mid upper right ( still has the small piece of canvas inside of the hole ), there is also a very light scrap across the upper sheeps head, otherwise I think the piece is in good condition for its age. One more thing, there are different size stretcher marks on the paintings itself, I would say it has had a few different stretchers in its time.
