This auction is for FABULOUS original painting from one of the estates I'm working on. It is done by Carlo Lauri. It was purchased the very day it was completed according to the letter attached to the back of the painting. The person that purchased the painting gifted it to someone 2 months after purchase and included the letter describing when and where it was painted and of what. In addition, there is a cancelled check showing that it was made out directly to the artist and the cancelled check has the artists signature on the back where he endorsed it. All of the provenance is in the envelope you see attached to the back of the painting in the 2nd picture above. This painting was done in Italy in 1985. It was completed on August 4, 1985. Then gifted in October of 1985. The painting is of Navona Square, Rome, Italy of the Outdoor market. It is impressionist style. The estate it came from had said that Carlo was a descendant of Filippo Lauri. An Italian artist that lived from 1623-1694. This painting is lovely and I've had it hanging in my house for approx. 2 years and thought it's time for someone else to enjoy. It's approx. 18 x 22 framed in the original frame the owner had it put in upon returning home. Professionally framed by a framing studio in Manhatten Kansas. !!!!
