Up for auction is an intricate painting of two main characters in Balinese mythology, Rangda and Barong. On Bali in Indonesia, plays are acted out with ornate costumes to tell the story of how the good king god Barong defeated the evil witch queen Rangda and her army of demons. This painting portrays part of the play. The painting is in excellent condition and features a hand-carved wooden frame. The painting itself measures 10in tall by 3in wide, with the frame it measures 19in tall by 11in wide. The painting is signed by W. Gitam. It comes from a pet-free, smoke-free home. US bidders preferred. International bidders must message me first as I do not ship to all countries and will have to get you a quote for shipping (the above estimate is for domestic shipping). Payment must be received within 3 days of when invoice is sent. Thanks!
