PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY CHINESE TURQUOISE-GLAZED FIGURES OF HO BIRDS /stores/viewstore.aspx This is a wonderful pair of mythical Chinese ho birds decorated in a turquoise glaze with aubergine comb and chin with iperced aubergine and celadon decorated base.These birds are modelled with great detail to feathers, tail and beak and with delicately-modelled tongues.Standing on pierced bases of peony on branch in aubergine glaze with peony blooms in a celadon glaze.Height approx 10" (25.5 cm).the bases are marked with an impressed mark.One bird has a broken wing which has been re-glued and the other has a small chip on the edge of one wing.Check out my other items !Be sure to add me to your favourites list !
