ANTIQUE FLORAL PICTURE FRAMES This auction is for one pair of antique victorian style picture frames. These stunning frames are mad of some sort of heavy duty paper board and embossed with a beautiful jewel tone floral print with a single rose at the top with a charcoal background. As you can see by the picture they are a horseshoe shape measuring 10" tall by 8" wide. You can also see by the pictures 2 and 3 that the backs have seperated from the front but this could easily be repaired or glued. The backing on these frames almost looks like leather. The front of the frames are in excellent condition although in need of a cleaning. My guess is that a light coat of wax would be perfect and really bring out the true colors in these frames. One of the frames has a detached piece of glass and the other one is missing. The glass has what looks like newspaper stuck to the edges and it appears to be German. the person whom these frame came from did a lot of traveling to Germany and my guess is this is w they originated from. These are truly unique and would be a stunning addition to any collection. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
