A pair of very fine Satsuman Hatpins of unusual shape, both silver backed and signed and both in good condition. No chips cracks or flaked paint. Hand painted with beautiful colours and decorated and edged with gold. The heads measure 1 and 1/2 inches across at widest point, and the shaft measures 11 inches. Total length is 11 and 1/4 inches.
