As you know, eBay has strict rules on listing items as Native American, etc. I will be describing these two handmade dolls as best as possible. The male and female pair were given to me years ago with every intention of fixing them. I have never had the opportunity to do so. The entire bodies are strong mesh wire. I will describe each (with imperfections) as best as possible. Male Doll – Measures 11 ¼ inches without his composite head. The metal wire is still sticking out of the composite neck area. Leather garments are hand sewn and have yellow and red fringes. The fringe appears to be a material that is similar to embroidery thread. There is brown leather trim on the bottom of his jacket. The moccasins are intact on the feet. The fringe on the right side of the moccasin is loose and needs to be resewn or glued. The right hand still has a leather hand with five fingers delicately cut. The left hand is missing adornments at the wrist. The arms extend outward to show the drape of the leather/suede cape. There are small stains on the front and back of leather jacket. The body is completely made of heavy mesh and there is some cotton batting/padding underneath the leather top. Female Doll – This doll measures 13 ½ inches with the detached headed.
