Pair Of Old & Rare COPAL AMBER African Trade beads THIS IS A NICE WELL MATCHED PAIR OF OLD AND RARE COPAL AMBER AFRICAN TRADE BEADS. Copal amber is made from old resin. This is not real amber. Most people collect these beads not for the material for which it's made, but rather how old, rare, or w the beads came from or been traded to. These beads were probably made in Germany then traded to Africa. You can read more about these beads in the book (Africa Adorned) .
