This is a pair of aluminum ramps custom designed to fit onto the back of a Honda Insight to get a generation one Segway (i167, i170, i180) into the rear compartment. This cost several hundred dollars to buy and have modified by a professional welder. While it will also work with a generation two Segway (the i2), it works better with a generation one. A generation one Segway happens to fit perfectly in the rear compartment area of a Honda Insight, with the telescoping handle able to keep the Segway firmly in place, and the hatchback can easily close completely. The ramps do not fold, but they do slide together, which reduces their length by about half. They can easily be stowed in the rear area of the Insight, alongside the Segway. These ramps are designed for the original Insight, the 2000-2006 models, not the 2010 Insight that returned to production.
