For sale, a pair of framed quarter plate English tinted ambrotypes of an elderly gentleman and his wife. The plate of the gentleman shows good contrast, although has a lot of small scratches (see photo), while that of the woman is in better condition. Both have tinted jewellery highlights, and come in an elaborate matched pair of Victorian frames (that of the gentleman has corner damage top right). I find these very characterful, Dickensian type personalities to look at. Payment can be made by PayPal or cash (sent by Registered post), or personal cheque drawn on a UK bank. Postage and insurance are extra at cost.
