A fine old pair of Hawaii Hawaiian wood/Gourd and feather rattles ca. late 19th century to early 20th century. The rattles with a tubular handle and bulbous finial decorated with red feathers and yellow feathers on base. The rattles shows nice age patina and wear feathers have been strengthened where age had loosened them now sturdy and strong. Measures 8 1/2 inches high. From an old NYC Estate collection. VERY RARE OFFERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
