Attention all Heisey Glass collectors!! This is an offer to buy a very RARE, and sought after pair of Heisey Flamingo , Sandwich Dolphin candlestick holders . Not marked, but they should not be. I GUARANTEE THESE TO BE AUTHENTIC HEISEY . After a series of questions and based on my description, the curator at the Heisey museum confirmed these to be authentic. Lovely, lucid glass that all collectors are aware of. The height varies on the pair, one stands 10 5/8" tall, the mate stands 10 3/8" tall. The height of the bases as well have a little difference in measurements. Square, sandwich style base that has the Heisey beveled edge. (this also was authenticated by him) the bottom of the bases are also each a little different, one is solid glass across the bottom of the dolphin, the others bottom of the dolphin is open, (you can actually put your fingers in) Truly a wonderful find, and I am happy to OFFER these to Heisey collectors as I don't collect this glass. Considering the bobechs' alone, these are of value as well. They do match perfectly, but was told that Heisey did not produce these to go with the candlesticks.
