Item: Pair Master Antique Victorian Open Salts Robert Harper. A large & heavy 120 gms, pair of open master salts by Robert Harper of London 1876. The salts have the benefit of being un-monogrammed. Beaded outer rim edge, body has embossed flower and forna design round their entirety, the pair sit upon three cast & applied sterling silver lion’s paw feet (please see photos). Both salts are fully hallmarked and to be found to the base. Becoming harder to find in this large size. For the collector of investor of Antique Victorian Silverware. Maker: Robert Harper, London. Hallmarks: Makers Mark RH, Date Letter A 1876 , Lion .925 Sterling Silver Finest, Leopard London. Queen Victoria’s side cameo portrait. Size: 60mm x 35mm Weight: 120 gms Condition: Some pin head dings to base, one salt is ever so slightly out of shape, mentioned for accuracy. Lots of salt residue inside. In need of a good clean. With no major knocks or dents.
