This auction is for a pair (2 knives with 2 sheaths) of either middle eastern or asian knives. These knives and brass scabbards look quite old and I would guess they were made in the 1950's or 1960's, perhaps earlier. I guess you will have to look at the pictures because I am not sure how to really describe them. They don't look cheap, they are rather well made and quite detailed. I can see some old heavy surface rust on one of the blades, but the other one just has minor rust The rest of the knives and sheaths look in very good condition. The brass pommels unscrew and the handles are in pieces separated by thin silver colored washers. I can't determine what the handles are made of, could be some type of animal horn, that is what they look like to me. No damage, just old looking and quite decorative. EBAY HAS INFORMED ME NO KNIFE SALES TO THE U.K. OR IRELAND.
