Estate fresh, this Pair of old South Carolina Dispensary Pottery Flasks are a true find! I am in no way an expert in this field, but the family history is that of South Carolina lineage. This estate also has civil war memorabilia, photos, etc. T was nothing at all new in the collection as it had been in storage for quite some time. Having said that, that is the extent of my knowledge about this pair. The large flask measures 7.5" tall without the cork, 3.75" wide and 1.75" deep. It is marked on the front "SC Dispensary" and has a raised palm tree motif. The back is marked "EPJR & CO". The bottom is difficult to decipher, but perhaps you can tell from the photos what the markings are. The smaller flask is 6.25" tall without the stopper, 3.25" wide and 1.5" deep. The front is marked "SC Dispensary" and has an interlocking "S" and "C". T are no further markings. Both flasks have no chips, cracks or hairlines.
