Pair of ROSELANE Ceramic Fawn Figurine - 2 Deer Statuettes This is a a pair of beautiful, original, vintage figurines (or statuette) of a fawn standing. The color is a beautiful green with brown highlights on the ears and back, etc. The style is Eames-era or mid-century modern. I donâe(tm)t know the date of this item, but I would guess it was made in the 1930âe(tm)s , 40âe(tm)s or 50âe(tm)s. They both have the original labels affixed to the bottom that reads âeoeRoselane Pasadenaâe on the bottom. I believe Roselane was a pottery outfit from Pasadena, California and I donâe(tm)t believe it is still in business today.YOU GET 2 FAWNS IN THIS AUCTION.NICE SIZE: Dimensions are approx 5âe high and 2âe wide. NICE CONDITION: Fawn #1 is in excellent condition except for a couple of minor (barely noticeable) chips on the edge of the ears and one tiny chip on the underside of the base. Fawn #2 has been repaired - it was broken ot the bottom of the legs and glued back together. This repair job is barely noticeable from the front, but is quite apparent from the rear.My wife has collected dozens of fawn figurines over the years, but we have recently downsized, so we must sell most of her collection.
