Pair of Unique Solid Brass Horses You are viewing my auction for a pair of beautiful Cast Brass Horses which were made in about 1920 (about 90 years old) by the grandfather of a friend of mine, I am selling these on her behalf. The horses one facing left the other right have been used as fire hearth ornaments in the past however may have other uses? The items are quite heavy about 5KG each (10+Lbs) and were lovingly made as a gift to his bride by a skilled pattern maker. The Horses measure 30cm long x 10cm deep and 27cm high, see ruler in photo. As you can see in the photographs they are in excellent condition and the horses very well proportioned. I have started the auction at £30.00 pounds as we are told that the scrap value is about this amount but they are far too nice to be melted down. The postage reflects the heavy weight of these horses however the buyer is welcome to collect. Thanks for looking and good luck
