ANOTHER ONE OF JACK'S AUCTIONS! How do you describe these two 20 1/2" tall pieces of art? I don't know if they were store-bought or made by someone with a lot of talent and time. These triangular shaped vases have frames made with what appears to be newspaper wrapped wicker. Then, woven in between the wicker posts of the frame are strands of rolled newspaper. Some kind of hardening solution must have been applied to the newspaper to give it a hard and slightly glossy finish. To give you an idea of the size of the opening on top, each side of the triange measure about 7". I can see these being used to display dried flowers. Or if you can find a thin enough vase to fit inside, real flowers could be used. These are very unusual. That's why I bought them. Hopefully, that will be why you bid on them. CONDITION is VERY GOOD.
