they are - ESTATE Victorian hinge bangles! RARE SET OF TWO Marriage Bracelets!! In the 1800's the women would wear matching bracelets on each wrist when they got married. Made of Rose Gold Fill - the dome fronts have the most amazing design of rose - yellow - white gold... a butterfly on each with flowers and leaves! Hinges are tight and strong. Some wear to the gold bands - doesn't distract. Wrist is adjustable with clamper style and metal but sitting they are 2 inches X 1 5/8. Both marked PAT. DEC 16 1879. Thanks so much!
