Pair of antique oil lamp bases that had once been converted to electric. The wiring is now so old that it is un-usable. They either need to be re-wired or converted back to oil. They are about 4 1/2" tall and about 6" wide at widest point. The fuel caps are inside the bases...seems like whoever converted it to electricity didn't want to get rid of the caps and just put them inside.I'm told that it is old glass as evidenced by bubbles in some spots of the glass. One of the bases even has what's left of a large bubble that must have popped before becoming solid. Pictures of these are included. Note there are a few dozen bubbles spread throughout the bases.There are no chips, cracks or other defects that I could see. Once cleaned up, I think they'll look great.
