This is a Pairpoint beautiful sulfide millefiori paperweight with an image of a woman. It is in excellent condition. Possibly a few faint scratches but very hard to see. It has striata going through it and a few large bubbles near the face of the woman. There are 8 pink Clichy style roses. On the bottom there is an unfinished pontil mark with a Pairpoint Glass sticker and the date 1861. This is not a manufacture date but I think the date the Pairpoint company opened. It weighs a little over a half a pound and measures a little over 1 1/2 inches at the base. If you have information as to whom the woman might be I would love to know. This is a final sale so please ask all questions before you bid. If the auction ends on a Thursday or Friday I will not be able to ship it until the following Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for looking.
