3 Pairs William Ridgway Blue Oriental Teacups & Saucers Presented are three William Ridgway Oriental pattern teacup and saucer pairs. This set includes 3 teacups and 3 saucers. The mark found on the saucers was used by Ridgway starting in 1891.All of these items have gilt edges; there is a good bit of wear to the gilding, though the wear is worse on some pieces than on others. One of the teacups has a very small chip to one of its edges (see our photo below); it also has a crack. A couple of the pieces have some light staining and cracklature. One of the saucers is faded compared to the others (see our photos below). One saucer and teacup are slightly smaller than the other saucers and teacups.Length: smaller saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter; larger saucers are 6 1/4 inches in diameter; smaller teacup is 4 1/8 inches from handle to rim and 3 5/8 inches in diameter at rim; larger teacups are 4 5/8 inches in diameter from handle to rim and 3 7/8 inches in diameter at rim.Note: These plates weigh about 2 pounds on their own!
