Great Collectible Item Pan Am Collector’s Plate Series 1 Plate 1 “Stratocruiser” Spans the Atlantic Design By Theodore Giavis Produced by Bausher Wieden of Bavaria W. Germany No Reserve I acquired this from my parents, who received it many years ago while traveling. Has been in storage well over 20 years. 8 ½ ˝ Diameter. Back of plate has following description “Pan Am’s Boeing B-377 Stratocruiser carried government officials and United States Naval construction teams assigned to ‘Operation Deep Freeze’ at McMurdo Sound, Antarctica, in October 1957. Temperatures there often reached as low as minus 68 degrees Fahrenheit.” Plate is in excellent condition, but has no packaging. Payment is required within 3 days, per eBay policy.
