I have placed on auction one slightly used vintage Pan American Airlines flight bag with large logo on blue nylon pack cloth with white vinyl piping and a rubberized lining sewn in. The metal zipper ( pull is stamped "PAA"), works very well. The outside was lightly dusted and wiped with a damp cloth and seems quite clean and original. This bag was stored with brochures for Nassau and the Bahamas and other documents inside which suggest it may have been obtained around 1954.

Lightly stuffed and zipped closed it measures 12" X 12" X 4". The bottom has four small chrome studs for feet which attach to a stiffening insert which helps the bag to keep its shape. T are no worn or torn spots on the fabric and only one small crack in the piping at a fold line. No other writing or inscriptions were found but one small tag inside that says âeoeNPC Natco Products Corporationâe This little vintage Pan Am carry-on / tote bag is in very nice shape, probably only used for that one particular trip my parents made and then to hold the memories they came home with.
