Auction consists of a blank ID card used to identify members of the Panama Defense Forces PDF G-2, the much feared Panamanian intelligence service. The card was issued to identify members of the G2 and persons collaborating with the G2. The card is ID card sized and reads "Republica de Panama Fuerzas de Defensa Tarjeta de Identidad, Nombre, signature, Cedula, SS, Grado, Emp No. Rango." (Republic of Panama Defense Forces, Identity Card, Name, Signature, National Id Card Number, Social Security number Grade, Employee Number, Blood type) The back of the card reads El Senor Comandante Jefe de Las Fuerzas de Defensa Ordena Se le brinde la Portador todos las atenciones y Cooperaacion que asi solicita, (Signed) Comandante Jefe de las Fueras de Defensa. (The Commander in chief of the Defense Forces ORDERS that you provide the carrier (of this card) your attention and cooperation required) Signed Manuel Noriega Commander in chief of the Panama Defense Forces. This signature is not an actual signature but one printed by the PDF printing office. The card was captured in General Noriega's office in the PDF headquarters by a US soldier during Operation Just Cause. The card was used to identify G2 members and collaborators with the G2.
