This display made by this artist, is a paper mache boot measuring 9 inches high! The Easter Rabbit has come to visit the old woman in a shoe, all of the children were out looking for eggs, but ONE little child stayed home. Things are a little crazy with the Easter Bunny ...one chick is barely holding onto an egg that rolled out of the top. The little bisque 4.5" girl has grabbed hold of the ladderback chair to keep the little kitty from falling out of the basket! Easter bunny has left eggs for the family and must now find a way out! Oh no...the window is too small, will he be able to leave before they all get home?..... Paper mache rabbit was made from an antique rabbit mold and is painted and varnished, then finished with glass eyes, his little paws are hanging over the edge of the window basket. The egg to his left is handmade 2.5 inches tall. T is a pink italian marble egg at the top by the baby chicks. French silk trims adorn the top. The shoe is filled with paper raffia of soft colors.
