Old Paris Porcelain Mid 19th Century HP Courting Couple Blind Mans Bluff VaseBeautiful mid 19th century Old Paris / Vieux Paris vase. It has a nicely hand painted Sevres style scene of a Georgian / Colonial courting couple playing Blind Man's Buff (Blind Man's Bluff). The woman is wearing a green, pink, yellow and white gown and the man is wearing purple, yellow and orange. The scene is framed in gold gilding. The background of the vase is painted a pale green with gold gilt stars, flowers and urns. With cobalt blue with gold gilt scrollwork overlay on either side of the scene. Unmarked except for a black number on the base.Has quite a bit of wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.Measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide x 12 7/8 inches tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.CR
