Parker Spanish Treasure Fleet 1715 sterling fountain pen. Cap inscribed "Spanish Treasure Fleet - 1715 Sterling Silver " and "Parker Made in U.S.A." Cap tassie (cap end) with mint mark of Mexico, barrel tassie with Eagle of Purity, the symbol of King Phillip V of Spain. Nib marked "Parker 14K U.S.A." In 1965 Parker offered special editions of the Parker 75 made from silver recovered from a sunken Spanish Galleon of the Armada of 11. Ten of the eleven ships that were carrying gold and silver back to King Phillip V were driven into reefs and sunk off the coast of Florida. MEASUREMENTS: 5" long. CONDITION: light wear and some tarnish.
