"Pasadena Community Playhouse News" (April 8, 1928). Published in Pasadena, California. Paper covers. 6" x 9" tall. 31 pages. Good-Very Good condition. Black and white photos and many period ads.The play that was being performed was Eugene O'Neill's LAZARUS LAUGHED (A Play for Imaginative Theatre). This was the World Premier for this playStarring as Lazarus of Bethany was the theatre actor IRVING PICHEL who had just moved to Los Angeles and to study acting at the Pasadena Playhouse. In 1928 he got the title role in LAZARUS LAUGHED. Paramount Studios signed him in 1929. He became an acclaimed actor and director.
