10k yellow gold Past Master pin. The Free and Accepted and Ancients Masons have three degrees in the Blue Lodge: Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason. Upon completion of the third degree, a member of the Masonic brotherhood becomes eligible for allied Masonic organizations, as do their wives and children. Men may join the Scottish Rite: IN HOC SIGNO SPES MEA, Chapter, Council, Consistory. They may also join the York Rite: Chapter, Council, Commandery. Other organizations include, Shriners, Grotto MOVPER, Tall Cedars of Lebanon TCL, Sciots. Allied women's organizations include Beauceants, Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star OES, White Shrine of Jerusalem WSJ, Amaranth. Allied youth organizations include DeMolay (boys), Rainbow Girls BFCLR, Job's Daughters, IYOB FILIAE. Many lodges have borrowed from, or patterned themselves after the Masons. Among them are the "animal" lodges: BPOE Elks, LOOM Moose, OOO Owls, FOE Eagles, RAOB Buffaloes. Knight lodges such as the Knights of Pythias K of P, Odd Fellows IOOF, and Elks also are distant cousins to the Masons.
