This is a nice pair of paste porcelain victorian figurines, a boy and girl each holding a basket. I picked up a lot of these figurines at a local estate auction, some are unmarked, most have hand painted numbers, a few have imprinted numbers, one says Made in Germany, I am pretty sure most are Bavarian in origin. I don't know that much about these figurines, please look at the pictures, and email with any questions. OK, now for this pair , each measures about 8 3/4" tall, t are nice hand painted accents, especially the face, some wear to the gold accents, no chips or cracks. Heavy for the size, they are eached marked, the boy with a hand painted 6 and impressed mark 5? the girl a hand painted gold X and an impressed 6 or 9. A nice set for the collector, I have more figurines on auction. Please email with any questions. I am happy to combine shipping on multiple wins, insurance is included in the shipping price.
