Nice original hooked quillion bayonet. Ricasso stamped EFD 10 '12 (Made in the Enfield factory Oct 1912). It appears to be Australian issue, as the pommel is stamped NSW 16481Pommel, Quillion and Ricasso still retain the full blued metal.The blade is still in it's original polish with some minor staining and very minute pitting on the cutting edge toward the tip. The scabbard leather is in very good condition and the metal work still has some bluing. The rear of the body is clearly stamped A.C with a broad arrow above. I am only guessing, but I think it may be J.A.C and due to the curve of the scabbard body the J was missed when it was stamped?Overall condition is very nice.Shipping:I am in New Zealand.
