1860s SAMPLER ALBUM APPLIQUE QUILT ~ USA FLAG This is a WONDERFUL folkart sampler album quilt with many differnt blocks. T's an eagle, USA Flag, hearts, stars, applique and many folky blocks. The berries are raised stuffed. It measures a generous 96 x 111 inches. Hand quilted 6 sitches per inch. No batting. Light age spotting. Fabrics are cotton. CRISP, never used or washed UNWASHED. The center blocks are circa 1860s, but put together as a quilt and quilted later 20th century. A Patriotic Album piece for your collection! Happy Memorial Day weekend!
