Large pottery planter by Paul Dachsel after leaving the original Amphora factory around 1904. He worked on his own from 1906 till 1911. This piece was make sometime during this period. The "6" on the bottom may represent the year "1906". Created by Paul in the Turn-Teplitz region of Austria. Has his pottery mark on the bottom along with the stamp "053" and "1033" over a "6". Paul was the son-in-law of Alfred Stellmacher who began Amphora Pottery in the Turn-Teplitz region. The opening of the planter measures 5 inches, 11 inches tall, approximately 15 inches at the widest part, and the base is 12.25 inches wide.
