PAUL JARVIS CUSTOM FIXED BLADE KNIFE This Paul Jarvis fixed blade knife was made circa 1995. It is in pristine condition. Paul makes no more than 10 knives per year and they are not seen on market very often. This a fine, reasonably priced example of his mid-90's work. The handle is Ebony wood. The pommel, ferrule and crossguard are sterling silver. Paul's last name (JARVIS) is stamped on the blades 'A' side tang. It comes with a black leather belt sheath. Making knives since he was thirteen years old, he sold his first knife at the age of fifteen. His unique talents arise from an inner passion to create beautiful objects and he has chosen knives and jewelry to do this. Paul started his apprenticeship as a mechanic during his second year at high school working for a company that manufactured laboratory equipment and dealt with material failure analysis. There he was involved in designing and making one-of-akind jigs and fixtures, using accurate machining tools and a variety of materials.
